The Yard & Patio

The back yard

The back yard is fully fenced and accessed through the sunroom. It's a comfortable space to relax or let kids or pets stretch out.

As noted on the Property & Safety guide, exterior cameras cover parts of the yard for security.

The patio

The patio does not currently include outdoor furniture. If seating outside is important for your stay, you're welcome to bring your own.

Sprinklers

The irrigation system runs automatically in the early morning hours. No action is needed on your part — but expect the lawn to be wet at that time, and avoid leaving cushions, shoes, or other items on the grass overnight.

The septic drain field is under the front yard, not back here, so the sprinklers and back yard lawn aren't affected by those restrictions. See the septic guide if you're curious about the front yard.

Cleaning up after pets

If you have a pet with you, waste bags are provided by the sunroom door leading out to the back yard. We'd appreciate it if you could clean up after your pet each time — it keeps the yard pleasant for the next guests. Used bags can go in the outdoor trash cans.
